Traffic: KOMIKON Comic Creation Contest

This is my winning entry to this years Komikon: Comix Creation Contest. I could not attend the Komikon on the first day when they announced that I had won. I was told the morning after on the way to Komikon, such a nice surprise. I cant count how many times I've joined this contest already(since 2009 probably). Thanks to Komikon again!

Streetlgiht Study Center

I discovered Streetlight middle of 2011 they are a foundation that helps the Seawall slum communities of Tacloban City. You can help their cause through donations or conatacting them at Streetlight.org.

Late of last year their project a collaboration with WORKSHOP (project Tacloban) was featured in architecture website Archdaily: Study Center in Tacloban / Workshop. I was surprised to say the least. I had to be at this building. On Friday I got my chance. I met the founder of Streetlight Mr. Erlend Johannesen. And on Saturday I returned to do some sketching in the Study Center.

Hopefully better scans in the future.

Sketch 8 : 2013 02 02

I was really hesitant to sketch right under the blazing morning sun. But then I realized my subjects were WORKING under the sun. So I decided to man up and draw. Even for a little while.

Also took down the exhibit at cafe Lucia today. Big thanks to them for hosting us. Till next time.

The Princess Diaries

I've been meaning do pieces about Anne Hathaway in her various movies, all leading up to her role this July in The Dark Knight Rises. I hope to do all her movies before it comes out this month. Oh. . . I have a lot of work to do.

It's interesting to note on here IMDB notes The Princess Diaries as here first movie, and in the lead role. She was cast in The Other Side of Heaven first but production of The Princess Diaries started first . But this is the first movie I've ever seen her in and I've been smitten ever since.

Frodo

I had just found an old drawing on my hard disk and then thought to colour it in to finish it off.
